Radish Parata Recipe

Radish paratha is a delicious and nutritious Indian flatbread made with grated radish and wheat flour. Here's a simple recipe for making it:




Ingredients:

-       2 cups of wheat flour

-       1 cup of grated radish

-       1 tablespoon of grated ginger

-       1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)

-       1/2 teaspoon of carom seeds (ajwain)

-       1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

-       1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder

-       1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder

-       Salt, As per your taste

-       Water, as needed

-       Ghee or oil, for cooking

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour, grated radish, grated ginger, and chopped green chili, carom seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

2. Gradually add water and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and pliable. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

3. After resting, divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into balls.

4. Take one ball of dough and flatten it with your hands. Dust it with flour and roll it out into a circular shape.

5. Heat a tawa or a flat pan over medium heat Place the rolled-out paratha on the tawa and cook for a few seconds until bubbles start to appear.

6. Flip the paratha over and cook the other side. Spread some ghee or oil on the surface and flip it over again. Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.

7. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.

8. Serve hot with yogurt, chutney, or any side dish of your choice.

9. Eat and enjoy your delicious and healthy radish parathas.

Mixed Vegetable Paratha Recipe




Mixed vegetable paratha is a delicious and nutritious Indian flatbread made with grated and chopped mixed vegetables i.e. carrots, peas, beans, corn, onion, etc., and wheat flour. Here's an easy recipe for making it:-

 

Ingredients:

-       2 cups whole wheat flour

-       1/2 cup all-purpose flour

-       1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, corn, etc.), finely chopped or grated

-       1 small onion, finely chopped

-       2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)

-       1 tsp ginger paste

-       1 tsp garlic paste

-       1/2 tsp cumin powder

-       1/2 tsp coriander powder

-       1/4 tsp turmeric powder

-       1/4 tsp red chili powder

-       Salt as per your taste

-       2 tbsp vegetable oil/butter/ghee

-       Water, as needed

Instructions:

1-  In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, and salt. Gradually add water and knead until you have a soft and smooth dough. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.

2-  In a separate bowl, mix together the finely chopped vegetables, onion, green chilies (if using), ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.

3-  Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a small circle and place a spoonful of the vegetable mixture in the center. Fold the edges of the dough over the mixture and roll out again into a thin circle.

4-  Heat a tawa or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the paratha on the tawa and cook until bubbles start to appear on the surface. Flip the paratha and cook the other side until it turns golden brown.

5-  Spread some butter or ghee over the paratha and cook for another minute or so. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and vegetable mixture.

6-  Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any side dish of your choice.

7-  Eat and enjoy your delicious mixed vegetable paratha.

 


Paneer Paratha Recipe

Paneer Paratha is a delicious and popular Indian flatbread stuffed with crumbled paneer (Indian cottage cheese), spices and herbs. Here is a simple method to make Paneer Paratha Recipe:-



Ingredients:

-       1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

-       1/2 teaspoon salt

-       1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

-       1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

-       1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

-       1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

-       1/2 cup crumbled paneer

-       1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves

-       1 green chilli, finely chopped

-       1/4 teaspoon amchur powder (dry mango powder)

-       Salt as per your taste

-       Water as required

-       Oil/butter/ghee for cooking

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and mix well.

2. Add water little by little and knead into a smooth and soft dough. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.

3. In a separate bowl, mix together crumbled paneer, chopped coriander leaves, green chilli, amchur powder and salt. Mix well to form a smooth filling.

4. Divide the dough into equal sized balls. Take one dough ball and roll it out into a small circle.

5. Add 1-2 tablespoons of paneer filling in the center of the rolled out dough.

6. Bring the edges of the dough together and pinch to seal the filling inside.

7. Dust the stuffed dough ball with some flour and roll out gently into a paratha.

8. Heat a tawa or a flat griddle over medium heat. Place the rolled out paratha on the tawa.

9. Cook for a minute or until the bottom side of the paratha is slightly cooked. Flip the paratha and cook the other side until golden brown spots appear on both sides.

10. Apply some oil or ghee on both sides of the paratha and cook until crispy and golden brown.

11. Serve the Paneer Paratha hot with your favourite pickle, chutney or yogurt and enjoy.

 


Methi Paratha Recipe

Methi Paratha is a nutritious Indian flatbread made with wheat flour and fresh fenugreek leaves. Here's how you can make it:-



Ingredients:

-       2 cups whole wheat flour

-       1 cup fresh fenugreek (methi) leaves, finely chopped

-       1 tsp salt

-       1 tsp cumin seeds

-       1 tsp coriander powder

-       1/2 tsp red chili powder

-       1/2 tsp turmeric powder

-       2 tbsp oil

-       1/2 cup water

-       Additional flour for dusting

-       Ghee or oil for cooking

Instructions:-

1.   In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, finely chopped fenugreek leaves, salt, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, and turmeric powder.

2.   Add the oil to the mixture and mix it in with your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3.   Slowly add the water, a little at a time, and knead the dough until it comes together and is smooth and elastic. You may not need to use all the water.

4.   Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

5.   Divide the dough into equal-sized balls (about the size of a golf ball).

6.   Take one of the dough balls and dust it with flour. Roll it out into a flat, round disc about 6-7 inches in diameter.

7.   Heat a griddle or a frying pan over medium-high heat.

8.   Place the rolled-out paratha on the hot griddle or frying pan and cook for 1-2 minutes or until small bubbles start to appear on the surface.

9.   Flip the paratha over and spread some ghee or oil on the surface.

10.                  Cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes or until golden brown spots appear on the surface.

11.                  Remove the paratha from the griddle or frying pan and place it on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb any excess oil or ghee.

12.                  Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.

13.                  Serve the hot and nutritious Methi Paratha with some plain yogurt, pickle or chutney of your choice. Enjoy!


Onion ka Paratha Recipe

Pyaaz ka Paratha is a delicious Indian flatbread made with dough that has been mixed with finely chopped onions and spices. Here's how you can make it:

-       1/2 tsp cumin seeds
